Did you know that Sweden celebrates Amaryllis Day every year on November 19 ? A day on which this elegant flower – a symbol of strength, beauty, and elegance – is put in the spotlight. Originally conceived by our Scandinavian colleagues, we believe this day deserves to conquer all of Europe. Because let's be honest: the Amaryllis Doesn't she deserve her own holiday?

Origin

The Day of the Amaryllis was created by Swedish florists' organizations to mark the start of the Amaryllis -season to celebrate. In Sweden, the flower is the ultimate winter icon: a symbol of light, warmth, and luxury during the dark months. Florists use this day to inspire their customers with new arrangements and color trends.

The holiday is important because it celebrates not only the flower itself, but also the craftsmanship of the florist – the creative hands that the Amaryllis bringing to life in bouquets and arrangements.
